White Chocolate

Synopsis

1+

In the world of Street Ball, it is perceived that only black athletes dominate this style of game. However, in the story of “White Chocolate” an out of place white Southern player reigns victorious. The dynamic in the story is the social integration of a White basketball player into the high intensity world of the predominately Black East Coast Street Ballers.

The lead character heads to the Northeast to play in several high stakes 1-on-1 tournaments, in an effort to financially support his terminally ill grandfather. Similar to the gun slingers of the Old West, White Chocolate encounters one-on-one battles, quick death matches and poetic trash talking opponents.

Just as Rocky showed immeasurable heart in the face of certain defeat, White Chocolate is able to dig deep and find the strength to emerge triumphantly.
